v1.9.0

Release Date: September 23rd, 2020

Features Included in This Release

  • Upgrades Spring Cloud Data Flow OSS version to 2.6.2.RELEASE.
  • Upgrades Spring Cloud Data Skipper OSS version to 2.5.2.RELEASE.
  • Includes OSS Spring Cloud Data Flow 2.6.2 support for VMware Tanzu Observability by Wavefront. Operators can use the new tile settings to configure default Wavefront setting values, which will be used for all service instances. Developers can override these default settings by passing parameters to the cf create-service or cf update-service commands when creating or updating a service instance.
  • Includes OSS Spring Cloud Data Flow 2.6.2 composed tasks improvement: Spring Cloud Data Flow automatically downloads and configures the composed task runner (CTR) app on the first use of composed tasks. Operators can use the new tile setting to configure a default URI for the CTR, and developers can use a parameter passed to the cf create-service or cf update-service commands to override the default URI when creating or updating a service instance.
  • Spring Cloud Data Flow now derives credentials from the p-dataflow service binding and uses these credentials to automatically set the properties for the SCDF URI and the OAuth 2.0 client credentials. With this improvement, the Composed Task Runner can securely work with Pivotal Scheduler.

Fixes Included in This Release

  • Fixed an issue that could cause the smoke test errand (“run-tests”) to not import all BOSH-configured CA certificates.
