Installing and Configuring Redis Enterprise Tile Manager for Pivotal Platform

This topic describes how to install and configure the Redis Enterprise Tile Manager for Pivotal Platform tile.

Install and Configure Redis Enterprise Tile Manager for Pivotal Platform

To install the Redis Enterprise Tile Manager for Pivotal Platform tile on the Ops Manager Installation Dashboard:

  1. Download the product file from PivNet Redis Enterprise Tile Manager for Pivotal Platform (login required).

  2. Add the tile to the Ops Manager Installation Dashboard:

    1. Go to the Ops Manager Installation Dashboard.
    2. Click Import a Product to upload the tile file you have downloaded from PivNet in step 1. Wait until the upload process is completed.
    3. Once the upload is successfully completed, find it in the list of products, under Import a Product, and click + next to the version number of Redis Enterprise Tile Manager for Pivotal Platform. This adds the tile to your staging area. Import button
  3. Click the newly added Redis Enterprise Tile Manager for Pivotal Platform tile. Import button

  4. In the Settings tab, go to the Assign AZs and Network section on the left navigation bar.

    1. Make sure you have a network selected for the tile manager to use. Import button
    2. Click Save and look for the indication that jobs were successfully updated Import button
  5. Go to Configuration and enter the following details:

    1. Ops Manager URL: Enter the Ops Manager URL.
    2. TCP Port Range Start: If you use TCP routing, enter the lowest TCP port number that can be used for TCP routing. Otherwise, enter 0.
    3. TCP Port Range End: If you use TCP routing, enter the highest TCP port number that can be used for TCP routing. Otherwise, enter 0.

    Note: TCP Router must be enabled in PAS. In order to determine the available TCP Router port range refer to the PAS configuration. Alternatively, cf login into Pivotal Platform and execute cf curl /routing/v1/router_groups. For more information, see Enabling TCP Routing in Cloud Foundry Documentation.

  6. Return to the Ops Manager Installation Dashboard and make sure the Redis Enterprise Tile Manager is now fully configured, as indicated by the green bar at the bottom of the tile. Import button

  7. Click Apply changes to install the Redis Enterprise Tile Manager for Pivotal Platform tile. Import button

  8. Verify that changes were applied successfully.

You have now completed the installation of Redis Enterprise Tile Manager and it is now ready for use.
