Using Qualys Cloud Agent for VMware Tanzu

This topic describes how to use Qualys Cloud Agent for VMware Tanzu and provides links to the Qualys Cloud Agent documentation. When Qualys Cloud Agent for VMware Tanzu is installed, you will see tile under Installation Dashboard from Ops Manager.

Click on Qualys Cloud Agent for VMware Tanzu tile to configure account as per prerequisite. Here you can select appropriate platform from dropdown, provide activation ID and customer ID to install Qualys Cloud Agent on VMs.

VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Integrated(TKGI) Support

The Qualys Cloud Agent tile is supported on TKGI as well, formerly known as Pivotal Container Service (PKS). For more information about VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid, visit the VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid page.

Installation

The Qualys Cloud Agent for VMware Tanzu tile includes support for VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Integrated edition. See the Installing and Configuring Qualys Cloud Agent for VMware Tanzu for guidance on how to install the Qualys Cloud Agent tile.

After the tile is installed with VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid, Qualys’ Cloud Agent will be automatically deployed on all Kubernetes clusters created by the VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Service Broker.

Configuration

Agent configurations specified to the tile will apply for agents running on BOSH as well as on Kubernetes; see the Installing and Configuring Qualys Cloud Agent for VMware Tanzu page for an overview of which configurations can be set for deploying Qualys Cloud Agent.

Upgrading Tile

To upgrade the Qualys Cloud Agent for VMware Tanzu, select upgraded product from the list and click Apply Changes. Confirm and click Review Pending Changes.

Click Apply Changes to complete the upgradation process.

Uninstalling Tile

To uninstall the Qualys Cloud Agent for VMware Tanzu, click delete icon from that tile. Confirm and click Review Pending Changes.
