GCP Stackdriver Nozzle for PCF

This documentation describes the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Stackdriver Nozzle for Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF). The Nozzle connects the Cloud Foundry Loggregator Firehose with Google Stackdriver Logging and Monitoring. Developers and operators can view their application logs and health through the Google Cloud Console.


GCP Stackdriver Nozzle for PCF includes the following key features:

  • Simplified configuration for the Stackdriver Nozzle
  • Resolved Cloud Foundry application metadata (for example, app name) in logs and metrics
  • Search, alert on, and create dashboards for logs and metrics generated by Cloud Foundry
  • Integration with Stackdriver Logging and Monitoring consoles
  • Configurable black/whitelisting of events from the Loggregator Firehose
