Boomi Data Services for PCF (Beta)

WARNING! The Boomi Data Services for Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) tile is currently in beta and is intended for evaluation and test purposes only. Do not use this product in a PCF production environment.

Boomi Data Services for PCF provides on-premise installation of Atom(s) and Molecule(s) for orchestration via the Dell Boomi Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS). It also provides a service broker for deploying Integration Packs to sub-accounts, via Atom Clouds. These service offerings are discoverable via the PCF Marketplace, allowing PCF application developers to directly deploy and use Boomi Integration Packs.

Limitations

The Boomi Data Services Service Broker uses Virtual Atoms, deployed on Atom Clouds, to deploy individual service instances.

Limitations of Boomi Data Services for PCF are that before individual service instances can be bound to PCF applications, the Atoms need the following:

  • To be manually upgraded to Type: Advanced via the Integration UI of Dell Boomi AtomSphere

  • To have their authentication tokens generated, manually, via the Integration UI of Dell Boomi AtomSphere
